Description

Softly sculpted gold

A generous mass of 18K yellow gold whose lines are as soft as if shaped by hand, with light sliding along the dome as it would across water. The 8 mm top swells into a single arc, then tapers toward the palm so the fingers still close naturally.

A domed band, thick across the top and tapering toward the palm, with a mirror-polished surface that brings out the color of the gold.

An 8 mm dome

The domed top is 8 mm wide, its curve running in one unbroken line from edge to edge, with no sharp angles.

Tapering toward the palm

The band is thick on top and thins toward the underside, so the space between the fingers is not crowded when the hand closes.

A substantial weight of gold

About 10.6 g of 18K yellow gold at size 7, its mirror finish reflecting the color of the wearer's clothing and skin.

After casting in 18K yellow gold, the dome and the taper toward the palm are refined with files, then the ring is polished to a mirror finish through many passes until the gold is smooth and reflective.

How to wear
