Sales policy
Scope
This policy covers every sale of jewellery, investment gold, silver, diamonds and gemstones by Kim Bảo Minh Châu (KBMC) at our boutique and on the website. Where it differs from the law, the law prevails.
Price
- The selling price has three components shown separately on the tag, quote and invoice: metal value, labour and stone value. How each is calculated is published on How we price.
- Metal value follows the KBMC price board in force at the time of payment. The board is timestamped to the second and published.
- Website prices are indicative, based on the latest board. The final price is the one in force when KBMC confirms the order and you pay. In-store quotes are held for 15 minutes.
- Promotions, when offered, apply to labour only. KBMC never sells metal below the day's board, so everyone buying at the same moment pays the same gold price.
- Invoice prices include value added tax.
Payment

The 20 million VND threshold follows the rule on paying through accounts in gold transactions (Decree 232/2025/ND-CP amending Decree 24/2012/ND-CP). Website orders from 20 million VND cannot be paid on delivery.
Identification
- Transactions of 50 million VND or more in a day require your 12-digit personal identification number and valid photo ID.
- This information serves anti-money-laundering duties and is stored and protected under our Privacy policy. See Anti-money laundering.
Invoices and documents
Every transaction comes with:
- An e-invoice showing the item, purity, weight, item code and the three price components.
- A digital warranty card linked to the item code, retrievable by phone number.
- A grading report for diamonds from 0.30 ct and certified centre stones.
A piece only leaves the counter once the invoice has been issued.
Re-weighed in front of you
Before handover, staff re-weigh the piece on a verified scale with the display facing you. Actual weight is never below the tagged weight. Any piece more than 0.005 g off its record is withdrawn for checking.
Holds, deposits and made-to-order
- In-stock holds: up to 24 hours with a deposit. When the hold lapses the piece returns to display and the deposit is refunded in full.
- Made-to-order: deposit per quote, delivery in 10 to 14 days. Metal value is fixed on the day the balance is paid, unless both sides agree to fix it on the deposit date.
Personal engraving
- Laser engraving inside the band, chosen on any product page that shows the Inside engraving field.
- Up to 16 characters, including spaces. The text appears in the bag and order summary so you can check it before ordering.
- Engraving fee is 300,000 VND per piece, added to the price before payment.
- Engraved pieces are not eligible for the 7-day exchange; when sold back, the Buy-back commitment applies.
