Description

A hoop hugging the lobe

The earrings sit close against the lobe like two sustained notes, neat yet full of light. On the outer face of the 3.8 mm rose gold band, a row of baguettes runs parallel to a row of round stones, two different rhythms of light side by side: on one side, long, flat streaks, on the other, small glittering points.

Round hoop earrings on a 3.8 mm band, with a row of baguette diamonds running parallel to a row of round diamonds on the outer face, and a neat hinged closure.

Fifty-four baguettes

The pair holds fifty-four baguette diamonds of approx. 1.8 × 1.0 mm, approx. 0.61 ct in total, set like piano keys.

A parallel row of round stones

Sixty-four round diamonds of approx. 0.9 mm, approx. 0.16 ct in total, run alongside the baguette row on the outer face of the hoop.

A neat hinged closure

The hinged closure shuts flush against the body of the hoop. The pair uses approx. 7.5 g of 18K rose gold and is secure to wear all day.

Craftsmanship

The hoop is cast in 18K rose gold, with the stone channel cut in advance so that each baguette lies in a straight line. The setter places the stones under magnification, then fits the hinge and polishes every edge.
