Description

Two drops of sea beside the ear

Beside each ear hangs a drop of the southern sea, clear blue like shallow water in the early sun. Above, a round diamond sits neatly at the lobe. Below, a pear-cut aquamarine approx. 6.9 mm long is edged with small diamonds like the silver crest of a wave.

Each earring has a four-prong round diamond at the lobe and a diamond-edged aquamarine drop suspended beneath, swaying with each step.

Two aquamarine drops

Each earring carries a pear-cut aquamarine of approx. 0.37 ct and approx. 4.6 mm wide, clear blue like the sea on a calm day.

A pavé diamond edge

The pair holds fifty-two round-cut diamonds, from approx. 0.8 mm to approx. 2.8 mm, approx. 0.28 ct in total.

A point of light at the lobe

A four-prong round diamond sits close to the lobe, anchoring the aquamarine drop below so that it swings freely.

Craftsmanship

The upper and lower parts of each earring are cast separately in 18K white gold, then joined with a small link so the stone drop can move. The edging diamonds are set by hand under magnification.

How to wear

Wear with the hair swept up so the two drops of sea are on show, and pair with the Sea Blue Necklace and Sea Blue Ring for an evening occasion.

Diamonds from 0.30 ct come with a report from an independent laboratory. Gold is true to its stated fineness and hallmarked. Lifetime care: free cleaning, polishing, prong tightening and stone checks at every boutique.
