In the bridal procession, the gold torque is placed around the bride's neck by the groom's mother as a welcome into the family. The 24K gold body is full at the nape and tapers toward the front, ending in two rounded tips engraved with fine lines. Craftsmanship

The body of the torque is cast from 24K gold and shaped to the curve of the neck. The two rounded ends are engraved with fine lines by hand, and the whole piece is then polished for an even, radiant gold.
